Ranchi, April 1: RJD which is part of the ruling coalition along with JMM and Congress has demanded two Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand from the INDI alliance.
Senior state RJD leader and minister Satyanand Bhokta said that our support base is very good in Chatra and Palamu. Therefore we should get two seats.
“We have a good chance to win if RJD fields candidate. JMM should also support our demand,” said Bhokta at a press conference at RJD party office in Ranchi.
On this occasion, RJD state president Sanjay Singh Yadav said that they have a right over Chatra and Palamu seats.
Incidentally, Congress wants to give only Palamu seat to RJD, but after RJD claiming two seats, the issue of seats and candidate selection is pending.
