Jamshedpur, March 4: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on Friday paid rich tributes to their leader and former Jamshedpur MP, Sunil Mahato on his 9th death anniversary.
Former CM and JMM working committee president Hemant Soren and party activists paid homage to the departed leader at his Gamharia house and Kadma Ganesh Puja Maidan.
Sunil Mahato, the popular leader of the JMM was elected to 14th Lok Sabha, first time defeating his nearest rival Abha Mahato of BJP by over 1 lakh votes.
Suman Mahato, the wife of late Sunil Mahato along with other party leaders remembered the popular leader.
Addressing the gathering, Hemant Soren said, Sunil Mahato�s absence will always be felt within the party. He always worked for the society and the party and his contribution will always be remembered.
Former CM said, �BJP led state government is not doing any work for the betterment of the people of Jharkhand and is only making announcements.
BJP has only one agenda and that is Murkh banao abhiyan (Make fool campaign)�. Also present at the event was MLA Kunal Sarangi, Champai Soren, Ganesh Choudhary and other party leaders.
