Revenue target diktat for Jamshedpur electricity officials

Jamshepdur, Mar 12: A meeting of executive engineer of Jamshedpur and Chaibasa circle under Singhbhum Area Board office at Bistupur where general manager of JBVNL, Pratosh Kumar directed all the executive engineers to complete target of March month at any cost and asked that Jamshedpur circle to collect revenue of Rs 61 crore and Chaibasa circle to collect revenue of Rs 37 crore. 
He also directed the executive engineers to constantly put pressure on big and government institutions defaulters to realise the amount and meet their target. and also carry out constant raids against those establishment who are stealing electricity using illegal means and earn income from the defaulters. 
Directives were also issued to keep the any time payment (ATP) machines to be functional even on Holidays so that consumers can deposit their electricity bill amount.
