Jamshedpur, Aug 19: A three day residential training cum workshop for Jal Sahiyas was organized under Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) at Vikas Bharati Prashikshan Kendra in Sundernagar on Monday. It was inaugurated by deputy commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla. He appealed the Jal Sahiyas to share their experiences with villagers to spread knowledge and awareness. Jal Sahiyas from Gudabanda, Dumaria and Dhalbhumgarh participated in the programme. At the beginning of the event, they were taken on a rural excursion. The participants held discussions on cleanliness with the villagers and explained its meaning to them. The villagers were urged to use toilets on a regular basis and spread further awareness in their neighbourhood.
The dignitaries present during the programme included BDO Jamshedpur Malay Kumar, Shishir Kumar Soren and Aman Kumar Jha.
