Reply sought from govt in Jamshedpur Bar Association case

Ranchi, Nov 21: A Division Bench of Jharkhand High Court headed by Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan heard the public interest litigation (PIL) filed by one Rajesh Jaisawal in connection with the alleged anomalies reportedly found in the audit report of District Bar Association of Jamshedpur. The bench was informed that the Jharkhand State Bar Council has written to the Jamshedpur SSP for filing FIR on the basis of audit report of the District Bar Association. The court has reportedly asked the state government to file its reply on affidavit to inform court whether the FIR had been registered by the SSP or not. The next hearing will be held next week, sources said.
