Jamshedpur, May 21: A delegation of the ABVP on Saturday submitted a memorandum to the East Singhbhum senior superintendent of police demanding action against those policemen who are drunk while on duty.
The delegation complained that on May 14, Bistupur police station personnel Suraj Sharma was in a completely drunken state and demanded money from students. The students were also abused. A complaint was lodged at Bistupur police station in this connection.
Sonu Thakur, Ravi Prakash Singh, Jugun Pandey, Prashant Tiwari, Suraj Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Nitish Mishra, Satnam Singh and Prabhat Shankar Tiwari were present in the delegation.
