Jamshedpur, Jan 17: Day two of 63rd Trishul Utsav and 118th birth anniversary of Swami Pranavananda, founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha began with Mangalarati, recitation from Shrimad Bhagwad Gita and Shri Shri Sangha Gita at 4 in the morning.
The highlight of the day was colourful religious procession starting from Ashram Ground to Kadma on anniversary of Swami Pranavananda.
The procession was conducted by Swami Ambikanandaji, Nityabratanandaji, Achalanandaji, Suresanandaji and others.
A cultural program was also presented by the students of Bharat Sevashram Sangha Pranavananda Centinary Residential High School.
A Tribal conference was also held in the day, the subject of the conference was Swami Pranavananda�s effective guidelines of comprehensive development of aboriginals. Speaker on the occasion was Swami Sashwatanandaji Maharaj, joint secretary of Sangh.
Several distinguished guests were present to mark the event. The day ended with a cultural program by Ranjit Kumar Sen & party from Midnapur.
On day three of the celebrations on Saturday, education conference along with cultural program and prize distribution ceremony will be held.
