Ranchi: The Election Commission has ordered re-polling at the two polling booths of Dumka Lok Sabha constituency on 28th April.
The polling will take place at booth number 100 and 101 from 7 am till 3 pm.
The chief election officer of Jharkhand PK Jajoria said the re-polling was ordered after the killing of eight persons including five police jawans and three polling officers who were returning from the said booths on 24th April last in Shikaripara police station area. Some of the documents of the polls conducted at the two booths were found missing. As a result, re-polling was recommended.
