Jamshedpur, March 3: Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur witnessed an august gathering of dignitaries and honorary guests to commemorate the 182nd birth anniversary of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata. Employees from Tata Motors as well as Tata Groups paid reverence to the founder.
The daylong celebration started with Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata, and Tata Sons Chairman, N. Chandrasekaran offering floral tribute to our founding father along with other dignitaries across group companies. The chairman emeritus and group chairman met all the factory heads along with the senior leadership team of Tata Motors. The growth story and the new range of BSVI Commercial Vehicles were specially showcased by the team on the momentous occasion.
Sustainability has always been the mantra of Tata Motors hence like every year this year the entire plant was decorated with flowers. This year’s USP is the newly upgraded state of the art engine facility along with a special vehicle display.
Commenting on the occasion Vishal Badshah, Head Jamshedpur Plant, Tata Motors said “March 3rd is a special time for Jamshedpur as the whole city decks up to celebrate the founder’s day. It is an absolute pleasure and honor to host Chairman Emeritus Group and Group Chairman and other special dignitaries from other group companies to Jamshedpur Plant. This is a very special year for Tata Motors Family as we are also celebrating our 75 years of the journey.
