Chandil: The kin of the standard VI student of Kapali today demanded arresting of the alleged rapist of the minor in an appeal to the State Women�s Commission.
They had lodged a written complaint with the Kapali OP in April last. The victim�s mother met Mahua Manjhi, chairperson of the State Women�s Commission and complained against the officer in-charge of Kapali OP, Sharda Ranjan Prasad Singh, for showing slackness in investigation and delaying arresting of the accused person.
She alleged that police lodged the FIR on 21st April even though the incident took place on 13rd April last.
