Chandil: A Chandil resident Raghunath Chatterjee has accused local police of favouring the in-laws of his daughter Rinku Chatterjee who was burnt to death recently.
He alleged that police were deliberately delaying the arresting of his daughters father in-law Krishna Chandra Chakravarty and mother in-law Bandana Chakravarty.
He said the accused in-laws often demanded dowry from his daughter and him.
He said local police did not arrest the accused persons even after the death of his daughter after being allegedly burnt by her in-laws on 19th April last.
Chatterjee met the superintendent of police of Seraikela-Kharsawan Madan Mohan Lal and demanded action against the guilty cops and the in-laws of his daughter.
