Gua: A meeting was held at the office of forest ranger, Gua, on Monday on the issue of providing employment opportunities to villagers of Thakura employed in private companies and mines of the area.
The villagers registered their protest on the delay in fulfillment of their demands despite handing over of a written plea to the local private companies.
A written request letter was given today to Ganesh Lal Bhagat, the ranger of Gua.
The ranger asked officials of local companies to attend a meeting going to be convened by him on the issue of giving jobs to villagers.
