Ranchi: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today said the development of the state could be ensured only by giving rights to gram sabha.
He was addressing a gathering of members of Santal Paragana Gram Pradhan Manjhi Sangathan held at Agrasen Bhavan on Monday.
He sympathized with the village heads and demanded that the rights of the village heads should be conferred on them without any further delay.
He said he will continue to press the government for fulfilling the demands of village heads.
