Jamshedpur: Priyanshu Kumari and Gautam Kumar clinched the coveted “Champions of Champions” titles at the 3rd Jharkhand State Yogasana Sports Championship.
The World Fitness Federation of Yogasana Sports and Sarkar Yoga Academy jointly organized the championship at the Andhra Association School Auditorium in Kadma. The grand finale on Sunday attracted yoga enthusiasts, parents, and sports lovers from various districts of Jharkhand.
Mukul Chaudhari attended the event as the chief guest, while former MLA Kunal Sarangi and social worker Indrajit Ghosh graced the occasion as guests of honour. The dignitaries distributed prizes and certificates and applauded participants for their commitment to Yogasana sports.
Organizers conducted competitions across 12 categories, featuring participants from five-year-old children to senior citizens above 60 years. The specially designed Star Category for differently-abled participants and the Moms Category for women drew significant attention.
Yoga experts Anshu Sarkar and Smiki Sarkar anchored the programme. Prasad Nandi from West Bengal served as chief judge, while Gouranga Sarkar oversaw the championship.
In other key results, Priyanka Prasad won the Moms Category, while Avinash Kumar Singh topped the Star Category for differently-abled participants. Siddharth Sanam and Rakshit Chandra Jha jointly secured first place in the Sub-Junior Boys category. Priyanshu Kumari also won the Junior Girls title, while Lucky Kumari claimed the Senior Women crown. Shatrunjay Kumar emerged victorious in the Super Senior Men category, and Jagdish Singh secured first place in the Masters Men division.
