DC Warns of FIR Over MGM Hospital Pipeline Delay, Orders 15 Water Tankers Daily

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan has warned officials of an FIR being lodged against the project implementation agency if it fails to complete the pipeline installation work at MGM Hospital by June 15.

In light of the ongoing drinking water crisis at the hospital, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed water supply arrangements during a meeting and directed officials to address the issue on priority. He said that any shortage of drinking water in a major government hospital during the prevailing heatwave is unacceptable and that the administration will not tolerate negligence in matters affecting public welfare.

To provide immediate relief, Rajiv Ranjan instructed the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) to ensure the supply of water through 15 tankers every day until authorities implement a permanent solution.
