Ranchi: Authorities in Jharkhand detained more than 100 individuals on Sunday following reports of a suspected paper leak ahead of the Excise constable recruitment examination.
Acting on specific intelligence, police raided a building in the Rangamati area under the Tamar police station jurisdiction. They discovered candidates allegedly preparing for the exam using leaked materials. During the operation, officers seized mobile phones, documents, and other suspicious items for forensic scrutiny.

The police currently hold all detainees at the Tamar police station for questioning. While the investigation remains ongoing, officials suspect an organized racket or a broader conspiracy.
