Ranchi, June 11: Ranchi MP and Union minister of state defence Sanjay Seth has assumed charge in the Defense Ministry in New Delhi.
Before assuming charge, he met Rajnath Singh and took his blessings.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also gave him a bouquet and wished him.
Sanjay Seth has been given a place in PM Modi’s cabinet for the first time. He took oath as a minister on June 9.
“I will try to live up to the responsibility entrusted to me by the Prime Minister and the central leadership. I will work with double energy by following the ideals of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Seth.
On Monday, he offered prayers at the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place.
This is the second victory of Union Minister of State Sanjay Seth. For the first time, he contested the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019.
