The police, relatives and local people have found the body of the young man. After which the police have sent the body to Rims for post-mortem. It is known that due to torrential rain in Ranchi, a young man was washed away in a drain.
The incident took place on Sunday around 12.30 pm on the culvert located at Saritand. Due to heavy rain, the water of the canal was flowing at a high speed on the culvert in Saritand. Meanwhile, while crossing the bridge, Dev Prasad lost his balance and fell into the drain. As soon as he fell, he was swept away by a strong current.
The youth who fell in the drain is resident Dev Prasad Ram (28), who was returning home from his shop (No. 39) at Atal Smriti Vendor Market. Police from three police stations were involved in searching for the young man after he was found missing.
