Ramnavami celebrated in Seraikela, procession tomorrow

Seraikela: Ramnavami was celebrated with fervour in Seraikela on Wednesday. The local akhara committees took out procession in their respective areas.

The procession concluded at the Bajrang Bali temple after moving through the main road and the local market. The procession of Rajbandh Akhara and Norodih Akhara will be taken out tomorrow.

In view of the festival, district administration stepped up security at various sensitive places. Police visibility was increased to ensure peace during the festival and keep an eye on trouble-mongers.

Police authorities here appealed to akhara committees to cooperate with the administration and ensure timely commencement and conclusion of the akhara procession.
