DPS Ranchi’s Pranya Priya crowned Jharkhand topper in CBSE Class 10, scores 99.6%

Ranchi, April 15: Jharkhand has once again showcased its academic excellence in the CBSE Class X Examination 2026, with students delivering an impressive overall performance.
Continuing a consistent trend, girls have outperformed in large numbers, reaffirming their strong presence in the state’s educational achievements.
According to initial updates from schools across the state, a significant number of students have secured above 90 and 95 percent, reflecting a highly commendable pass percentage. Key academic hubs such as Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, and Bokaro have reported particularly outstanding results, with several schools achieving a 100 percent success rate.
Many students have also scored full marks in individual subjects, highlighting their academic rigor and dedication.
Among the standout performers is Pranya Priya of Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranchi, who scored an exceptional 99.6 percent, emerging as the school topper and a strong contender for the state’s top position.
While the official list of toppers is yet to be released, her score places her at the forefront based on available data. DPS Ranchi recorded a perfect result, with all 369 students successfully clearing the examination.
School Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan expressed pride in the students’ achievement, stating, “The discipline and commitment shown by our students have truly paid off. This success is a collective effort of students, teachers, and parents. We are immensely proud of every achiever.”
Pranya Priya credited her success to consistent study habits and the unwavering support of her teachers and family. “Regular preparation and proper guidance were key. The encouragement I received from my school and parents played a vital role in helping me reach this milestone,” she said.
The strong performance by girls across Jharkhand signals a positive shift in the education landscape. As more results continue to pour in, the final list of state toppers will become clearer. For now, Jharkhand’s remarkable showing has infused a renewed sense of optimism and enthusiasm in the academic community.
