Balanced approach helps Archismant score 98%

Jamshedpur, April 16: As CBSE Board results were declared, inspiring stories of student success have emerged from across the country. Among them, Archisman Banerjee, a student of DAV Public School Bistupur, has secured an impressive 98 percent, placing him among the top performers in the Kolhan region.

Archisman’s achievement stands out not just for his high marks but also for his balanced approach to academics and sports. He said he never considered studies a burden and maintained a steady routine throughout the year. Even during board exams, he studied for only two to three hours daily, focusing on quality over quantity.

He believes that consistent daily study is more effective than long hours of last-minute preparation. Instead of taking private tuition, Archisman relied on classroom learning. After returning home, he would revise lessons by writing them down, a method that helped him retain concepts better.

Unlike many students who avoid sports during exams, Archisman continued playing football for nearly three hours every day. He said sports kept him physically active and mentally fresh, making it easier to concentrate on studies. A passionate football fan, he looks up to Cristiano Ronaldo and draws inspiration from his discipline and dedication.

His family also played a key role in his success. His mother, Anasuya Banerjee, a teacher, encouraged him to focus on becoming a good human being and to study regularly without stress. She believes children perform better when they are not under excessive pressure.

Archisman scored 96 in English, 99 in Sanskrit, 98 in Mathematics, 98 in Science, 97 in Social Science, and 99 in Information Technology. He is currently pursuing his Intermediate studies and aims to join the Indian Institutes of Technology to become an engineer.

His journey highlights that with discipline, consistency, and a healthy balance between studies and extracurricular activities, students can achieve excellent results without stress.
