Jamshedpur, June 12: MLA Ramdas Soren took firm action against a revenue employee at the BDO’s office on Wednesday regarding the ongoing dispute over land in Putru village under Galudih police station area in East Singhbhum district. Instructing the employee to expedite a detailed report on the matter, MLA Soren emphasized the urgency of resolving the issue.
Zila Parshad Karna Singh also criticized the BDO office’s efficiency, highlighting the rampant illegal land transactions in Ghatsila. He stressed the prevalence of middlemen and vowed to substantiate his claims with evidence.
The MLA echoed Singh’s concerns and warned of raising the matter in the assembly if improvements were not made promptly.
The dispute revolved around land adjacent to the Putru football ground, where Jitendra Dubey was constructing a house. Despite repeated measurements by the BDO office and police investigations, disputes persisted. Recent clashes resulted in injuries to two individuals, prompting MLA Soren to take up the matter.
