Ranchi, November 17: Manika MLA Ramchandra Singh has been chosen as the best MLA. He will be honored in the foundation day ceremony of Jharkhand Assembly on 22nd November.
Ramchandra Singh is a Congress MLA, who was elected to Manika Assembly in 2019. Earlier in 2022, CPI-ML MLA Vinod Singh and before that in 2021, Ramchandra Chandravanshi was given the best award.
Selection of best MLA is done by a special committee, which includes the Speaker of the Assembly and selected MLAs from the opposition.
This time, apart from speaker Rabindranath Mahato, Jharkhand cabinet minister Alamgir Alam, JMM MLA Stephen Marandi, Anglo Indian representative Glenn Joseph Gaulsten, NCP MLA Kamlesh Singh, journalist Anand Mohan were included in this committee.
