Jamshedpur, November 17: In the case of recommending action under section 107 against BJP leader Ankit Anand as a religious fanatic, Telco police station in-charge Naresh Prasad Sinha and Sub Inspector Ranjan Kumar Paswan and others role will be investigated.
In this regard, the under-secretary of Jharkhand State Police Complaint Authority has issued instructions to Senior Superintendent of Police of Jamshedpur, Kaushal Kishore, asking him to immediately investigate the matter and send the investigation report to the authority.
This proposal for investigation has the approval of the chairman of the State Police Complaint Authority.
It is known that a month ago, on the basis of a report of Telco police station, the SDM court had issued a notice under Section 107 to former BJP city spokesperson Ankit Anand. After reviewing the report, it was found that in the report prepared from Telco police station level, the name of the BJP leader has been linked with the notorious cow smugglers and butchers of the area.
Ankit Anand had requested the district administration to investigate, but after no initiative was taken, he lodged a complaint with the State Police Complaint Authority, referring to the corrupt research and baseless allegations made at the Telco police station.
Later a court complaint was also filed in Jamshedpur Court. The State Police Complaint Authority has issued an order to this effect on October 27 itself.
