Jamshedpur, July 1: The 5th CISCE Zonal Chess Tournament 2024 (Selection Trial) is set to take place at Ramakrishna Mission English School, Bistupur, on 4th and 5th July.
A preparatory meeting for the event was held today at Ramakrishna Mission English School, attended by sports teachers from CISCE schools across Jamshedpur. The meeting, presided over by K. Rajani, Principal of Ramakrishna Mission English School and Tournament Organiser, outlined the rules and regulations for the upcoming tournament.
Key attendees included IA Chandan Kumar Prasad, the Tournament Director; Chiranji Lal, Arbiter; and Deepak Srivastav, Sports Teacher at Ramakrishna Mission English School.
K. Rajani, informed that the tournament will see the participation of 106 boys and 65 girls.
She said that IA Jayant Kumar Bhuyan has been appointed as the Chief Arbiter, with IA Vishal Kumar Minz serving as the Deputy Chief Arbiter for the tournament.
