Noamundi, March 8: International women�s day was celebrated on Sunday under Noamundi Block. On the occasion a rally was taken out by Mahila Samities of 69 villages.
Noamundi Block Lady Extension officer Nimi Horo who was leading the rally said, �Women are gifts of Almighty we cannot imagine a human life without them�.
The women participants gave slogan to women empowerment. The rally traversed through Noamundi Bazar, Sangramsai, Lakhan sai and returned to Block office. As many as 220 women took part in the rally.
