Jamshedpur, July 8: The Marwari Mahila Manch (MMM), Jamshedpur branch, will organize a three-day Rakhi Mela (exhibition cum sale) at Tulsi Bhawan, Bistupur, between July 22 and 24 (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). Preparations for the event are in full swing. The fair will be open daily from 10 am to 9 pm.
The forum’s office bearers released the poster for the Rakhi Mela on Monday. The event will feature 50 stalls, according to a joint press release by the organization’s President, Rani Agarwal, and Secretary, Meena Agarwal. Women from various cities, including Jamshedpur, Chaibasa, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Kolkata, and Mumbai, will bring their collections of products to the fair, showcasing many new and attractive items.
The Rakhi Mela, continuously being organized for the past 31 years, aimed to empower women. The fair will offer a comprehensive collection of Rakhis, gift items, bed sheets, Laddu Gopal dresses, Bandhanwars, sarees, kurtis, and home decor items. Additionally, handmade household items such as pickles, papad, mangodi, and khajla will be available at reasonable prices.
