Student Council investiture ceremony at Xavier’s School Gamharia

Gamharia, July 8: Xavier’s School in Gamharia organized its Student Council investiture ceremony following the recent elections. Priya Das was unanimously elected president, with Ramdhan Pradhan as vice-president. Tamanna Mandal was elected secretary, and Toofan Mandal as co-secretary. Ashutosh Kumar Bhagat was chosen as the parade commander of the school.

The event commenced with a march-past to the accompaniment of the school band by all the elected members. Responsibilities and duties were handed over by the outgoing student council members, Sahitya Singh and Shreya Raj. The school’s Principal, Father Sebastian S.J., was the chief guest.

Captains and vice-captains for the four houses announced included Captains Daksh Singh and Dua Mahato, Vice-Captains Yuvraj Shukla and Ashmita Kumari (Jaguar House); Captains Vishnu Vardhan Dubey and Shiksha Sharma, Vice-Captains Kumar Ankur and Puja Gupta (Panther House); Captains Ravi Ranjan Singh and Satya Ninad Rathore, Vice-Captains Baidyanath Soren and Priya Mahato (Cheetah House); Captains Arup Kumar Das and Divyanshi Mishra, Vice-Captains Nikhil and Puja Hembram (Leopard House).

During the oath ceremony, Principal Father Sebastian emphasized the importance of positive influence and wished the newly elected members a bright future. He honored them with school badges. Vice Principal, Father Dayanidhi, Sister Archana, and teachers Saroj Ranjan, Anamika Dixit, Vikash Singh, Rajiv Hansda, and Gideon James played key roles in the program’s success.
