Jamshedpur, July 21:The Marwari Mahila Manch (MMM) Jamshedpur branch will host a three-day Rakhi fair (exhibition cum sale) at Tulsi Bhawan, Bistupur, from July 22 to July 24 (Monday to Wednesday). All preparations for the event have been completed. The fair will be open daily from 11 am to 9 pm.
The event will be formally inaugurated by SDO Parul Singh on Monday, July 22, at 4 pm. Approximately 50 stalls have been set up for the fair.
In a joint press release on Sunday, organization President Rani Agarwal and Secretary Meena Agarwal shared details about the fair. They emphasized that the community eagerly anticipated this annual event, which featured a wide array of items, including Rakhi, gift items, bed sheets, Laddu Gopal’s dress, Bandhanwar, sarees, kurtis, and home decor items. Additionally, the fair offered a variety of handmade household items such as pickles, papad, mangodi, and khajla at reasonable prices.
This fair is being organized continuously for the past 35 years to empower women, providing them with opportunities for entrepreneurship and self-dependence.
