Rakesh Sahu with 5,046 votes retains Youth Congress Jharkhand state secretary’s post

Jamshedpur, Jan 7: Indian Youth Congress election results were declared on Friday in which Satyam Singh of Jamshedpur got the [post of YC state general secretary with 10,198 votes while Rakesh Sahu was re-elected as Jharkhand State Youth Congress secretary with 5,046 votes. Niraj Singh won the post of District President by getting 6,168 votes.

Other office bearers elected were Niraj Sahu ( Speaker of Eastern Assembly), Bhavani Singh (Speaker of West Assembly), Rohan Singh (Potka Assembly Speaker), Baibhav Upadhyay (Speaker Jugsalai Assembly), Vikram Singh ( Speaker Baharagora Assembly and Shankar Behera (Speaker Ghatshila Assembly). Kamlesh Sahu was elected District General Secretary, Mukesh Yadav as District Secretary and Jamshedpur East Assembly Deputy Speaker Gautam Sahu.

As soon as the news of the victory was received, the workers gathered at the office located in Bhalubasa and in the form of a procession went from Bhalubasa office to Jambu Akhara Hanuman temple and offered prayers.
