Rajasthan Foundation Day to be celebrated on March 30

Jamshedpur: Zila Marwari Sammelan is going to celebrate the foundation day of Rajasthan on 30th March at Dhalbhum Club, Sakchi, on 30th March. A grand cultural event would mark the celebrations. Rajasthani folk artists have been invited to perform on this occasion. This was informed here on Sunday by the district president of the outfit Umesh Shah at a press conference at Agrasen Bhavan, Sakchi.
Shah said more than 2000 people are expected to attend the forthcoming event. He said the celebrations are meant to celebrate the glorious history of Rajasthan which was formed through an amalgamation of the royal states of Jodhpur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner on 30th March 1949. All Marwaris are invited to the event, he said.
Among those present during the press conference were district general secretary Ashok Modi, Kolhan vice president Bajrang Lal Agrawal, secretary Vijay Khemka, Naresh Modi, Sakchi branch president Om Prakash Ringsia, district press in-chage Shankar Agrawal, Rani Agrawal, Mahabir Agrawal and Sunil Debuka.
