Jamshedpur, Aug 20: A grand puja pandal built on the occasion of Janmashtami Puja in Azad Basti, Kandra, fell down on Saturday after continuous rainstorm. A large number of devotees were present inside the pandal. Many of them managed to escape out but there were some who were caught inside the structure. They were somehow taken out of the pandal. No casualty was reported in the incident.
The puja committee president Ranjeet Pramanik said a grand pandal was built for Janmashtami and a large number of people had gathered to see it.
