Rain to lash Jamshedpur, other districts

Jamshedpur, March 29: The weather is constantly changing in the entire state of Jharkhand including Jamshedpur. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorm along with light rain in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti and Ramgarh on March 30. On March 31, there is a possibility of rain and thunder in the entire state. During this, hailstorm may occur at some places in western, central and southern parts of Jharkhand, Met office sources said.

Sources said winds are expected to blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km. On April 1, there is a possibility of rain everywhere except Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga. On the other hand, from April 2 to April 4, the weather will remain dry. During this period, the weather will be partly cloudy. Meanwhile, Jamshedpur recorded a maximum temperature of 36.8 degree Celsius and a minimum temperature of 22.2 degree Celsius on Wednesday. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, during the rains, the wind will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of thundering at some places. In this regard, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert and said that during the rains, people should stay in safe shelters. Light rain lashed some parts of the state including Jamshedpur on Tuesday, due to which a drop in temperature was recorded. After April 4, the weather will gradually clear up, sources said.
