Jamshedpur, June 4: The Railway Recruitment Board will conduct computer-based examinations for non-technical posts, including ticket collectors and clerks, in Jamshedpur from June 5 to June 24. Over 2,000 candidates were expected to appear for the exams across four designated centers in the Mango area.
To ensure fair conduct of the exams, Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel will be deployed alongside local police at each center. The move came after increased vigilance following the recent exposure of recruitment fraud in Mughalsarai.
Earlier, the railways had conducted examinations for paramedical posts in April, in which around 600 candidates appeared in three shifts.
Authorities have advised candidates to remain alert and avoid falling into fraudulent schemes or relying on unauthorized agents for recruitment.
