Jamshedpur: The new Durga Puja committee of Railway Cooperative Society, Baroda Ghat, was formed on Saturday. A meeting was held in this regard at the Sahkarita Bhavan today. It was decided to celebrate Durga Puja with fervour. BK Tiwary was elected president while Valmiki Thakur and Bimlesh Srivastava were elected secretary and treasurer respectively.
Other committee members elected today include Niranjan Kumar, Pankaj Sandwar, Deepak Kumar, BB Jha and Rajesh Kumar. Those present at the meeting included HN Sharma, CM Prasad, CC Saha, P Lal, RN Prasad, Ashok Singh, RK Pandey, AK Sharma, BL Singh, YP Sinha and Gopal Dubey.
