Railway Board passengers’ committee inspects Tatanagar station

Jamshedpur, Nov 21: A seven-member team of Railway Board Passengers Amenities Committee visited Tatanagar railway station for inspection on Monday. They inspected various facilities available to passengers at the railway station.

The team visited various platforms and inquired about the amenities. They went to the restaurant at platform number 1 and inquired about the food served to passengers and its quality. They spoke to the restaurant manager and also interacted with several passengers.

The committee members inspected the toilet at platform number 1 and inspected it for cleanliness. Thereafter, they went to the first class AC waiting hall and reviewed the facilities. From here they went to the ticket counter and spoke to several passengers. The team members sought details about the coach display system at the platforms and inquired whether passengers faced any inconvenience.

The station was much crowded on Monday due to rescheduling of many trains due to goods train derailment in Odisha. They wanted information about the status of their trains at the inquiry counter.

The committee members were accompanied by the Assistant Commercial Manager (ACM) of Chakradharpur Rail Division Ashvini Mishra, Station Director Raghuvansh Kumar and RPF Assistant Commandant SK Nayak.
