Jamshedpur: Former MP of Jamshedpur and senior Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader Dr Ajoy Kumar today termed the Union rail budget as disappointing and against the interests of the people of Jharkhand.
He said the demands for new train services and more amenities were ignored in the budget. He said the government had announced proposals for bullet train and many PPP projects which were merely an eyewash.
He said the government had already shown its insensitivity towards to the people by hiking the rail fare. He said he had worked a lot to demand various facilities for the people of the city during his tenure.
But the Central government has ignored the demands of the people.
