Mumbai/Ranchi, Feb 17 : Mineral rich Jharkhand is ready with investor friendly environment to welcome the Pro development business tycoons.
First stable Jharkhand government is determined to take the state on the pinnacle of development, said Hon�ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Raghubar Das, today he was addressing a gathering of probable investors in Jharkhand Event of Make in India Week.
Cm said During last one year Jharkhand Govt. has done a lot in the field of basic infrastructure development. To make the system business friendly Govt. has taken several steps. Due to our efforts the World Bank ranked us 3rd among the Indian states for ease of doing business.
Ease of doing business is an initiative within the frame work of MAKE IN INDIA. We have natural resources, skilled man power, Industrial culture and pro active Governance for making the initiative successful. CM invited the business tycoons to participate in World INVESTOR SUMMIT scheduled in Jharkhand�s state capital Ranchi in the month of November 2016.
CM further said our natural resources will be supportive in the effort of creating new horizons for employment. He invited the investors to come to Jharkhand to establish their industries and become the partner of state Govt. in the process of Development.
He assured the Investors a big market in Jharkhand itself for their services and product.CM said however Jharkhand is known for minerals, iron and automobile but we cann�ot deny that the work force of Jharkhand is also an asset.
CM asked the Investors to invest in untouched sectors also. He outlined about the scope of investment in the field of Tourism ,Agriculture and Horticulture. He said- Nature has given ample of scenic beauty to our State and the climate is favourable for Development of agriculture and horticulture based industries. Hon�ble CM elaborated the steps taken by his Govt. for making policies to help the industries.
He asked the investors to invest in the service sector, education, medical, information technology and electronic sector.
Mr. Raghubar Das said Jharkhand Govt. is getting all possible support from centre to realize its efforts for rapid development. He mentioned the latest initiative of central Govt. in developing Amritsar- Kolkata corridor and said, it will give momentum to the economical development of eastern India as well as Jharkhand.
CM said- State Govt. is ready to make a system through which basic infrastructure availability will get global standard. He mentioned about Industrial area development authorities and said all matters of asset management will be dealt by these authorities.
Mr. Raghubar Das said- state Govt. is driving Jharkhand with a new spirit and vision. He mentioned about the country�s 1st solarised Khunti district court and further said Govt. is determined to make Jharkhand a power hub of country.CM reassured the investors of making whole range of services online.
He asserted that Jharkhand is pioneering in progressive state�s and within two decades state will shoulder with states like Gujrat.
On this occasion Chief Secretary of Jharkhand Government Mr. Rajeev Gauba emphasized on the logistical advantage which Jharkhand can offer to the Investors. He added that it�s well known fact that Jharkhand alone contributes nearly 40% of the country�s mineral resources and besides being the largest producer of Copper, Mica and Uranium it also contributes 30% of country�s coal reserve.
Chief Secretary added that Jharkhand has the potential to become one of the most highly industrialized regions of the world as it has already well established industrial centres like Jamshedpur, Bokaro and Sindri.
Chief Secretary highlighted the major success of the govt. during last one year ie. 3rd rank awarded to the state by World Bank in ease of doing business, single window system for clearances and approvals, New industrial policy, transformational changes in governance to promote synergies and ensure speedy decision making.
He added Jharkhand has become the first state which successfully auctioned non coal mine and got rank in implementation of UDAY scheme.
He further added State govt. is in process of recruiting specialists in rank of . special secretary in various deptt. to infuse new ideas and best practices.
