Mumbai/Ranchi, Feb 17: Investors and industrialists praised the state govt. in the �Make In India Week�. They praised the endeavors of the state govt. of �Minimum Government , Maximum Governance� and other steps undertaken by the Govt.
They said that under the leadership of Mr. Raghubar Das coordination among different departments of the govt., single window system, labour reforms, land bank, tax reforms, new industrial policy and accountable bureaucracy, simplification of rules etc. have been given due focus and the result is promising.
After the announcement and address of the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary, the Rajya Sabha MP-cum- Vice Chairman of Reliance Industries Mr. Parimal Nathwani said that there is ample possibility of investment in Jharkhand and the new govt. has changed the condition and direction of the governance. With improved law and order and new policies, Jharkhand has become the prime center of investment.
JSPL Chairman Mr. Navin Jindal said that Jharkhand has undergone a radical change. He said that his company (jindal Steel) will increase its investment in the state.
MD, Adani Group Mr. Rajesh Adani said that Jharkhand is a state of immense possibilities. Hence it is in the priority list of the group. Apart from 1,000 mega watt solar plant, the company is expensing 15 thousand cr rupees in Green Field Power Project. It is notable that Adani Group and Jharkhand Govt. have signed MoU of 2 x 800 megawatt thermal power plant.
MD, Tata Steel T.V. Narendran said that Tata has experience of working in the state for more than 100 years and one can work well in the changed condition. Praising the govt., he said that the govt. is working for the development of basic infrastructure.
Promoter of Essar Group Mr. Prashant Ruiya said that many reformative and developmental steps have been undertaken by the govt. Their group has already invested 5500 cr rupees in the state and will increase the investment in the years to come. He said that BPO is working in the service sector in Jamshedpur and it will open its branch in other cities also.
CMD , Sujlan Energy Mr. Tulsi Tanti said that there is ample potential in producing renewable energy component. His company is probing the potential of investment in the state. He said that electricity is comparatively cheap in Jharkhand.
