Radha Kalyanam held at Sri Rama Paduka Ashram

Jamshedpur : On the auspicious occasion of “Vaikunta Ekadasi” (the utmost sacred Ekadashi which falls in the Dhanur month), Radha Kalyanam was performed at Sri Rama Paduka Ashram, Farm Area, Kadma On Sunday morning.

As part of this, Divya nama Sankeertana was arranged at the Ashram premises on Saturday, 7th January evening which was attended by hundreds of devotees.

On Sunday morning, the Kalyana Mahotsav for Lord Krishna and Radha has commenced with “Injuvarti” (seeking rice from homes to prepare bhog to offer to God).

Immediately after this Radha Kalyana mahotsav was performed which was witnessed by many devotees.

While the puja and archana was on, P S Krishna Iyer of Acharya Bhakta Sabha rendered bhajans in praise of Lord Krishna and Radha.

He was accompanied many artists of the group. V Suresh, a noted South Indian bhajan artist of Jamshedpur also performed on the occasion while attiring in Lord Krishna’s robes and also danced to the melodious tunes of songs on Lord Krishna.

Sriram, Jairam and Abhishek Mishra, students of Acharya Bhakta Sabha, who were trained by P S Krishna Iyer, also rendered bhajans which impressed those present.

Later, prasad was distributed to the hundreds of devotees who witnessed the event
