Jamshedpur: District Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have written to the Union Home Secretary of Government of India demanding information on three points relating to the process of recruitment on top posts in the Army.
The outfit members, Dhanurdhar Tripathi, alleged that the people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar were not chosen for top posts in the Army even after 67 years of implementation of a law by Queen Victoria of Britain.
They said Major SK Sinha was not appointed as the Army chief in the year 1980, asking the reason behind it.
