MLA Purnima Sahu Launches ₹69.10 Lakh Infrastructure Projects in Burmamines

Jamshedpur: MLA Purnima Sahu accelerated infrastructure development in the Jamshedpur East constituency on Tuesday by laying the foundation stones for several public welfare projects worth ₹69.10 lakh in the Burmamines area.

Key Projects Launched

The MLA inaugurated a wide range of civic amenities projects:

  • Lighting and Beautification: Installation of a high-mast light at the Gayatrinagar Gwala Basti Chhath Ghat ground (Telco) and the beautification of the public Chhath Ghat in Manifit.
  • Water and Sanitation: Construction of drainage chambers at the Manifit Ramadhin Bagan Chhath Ghat, boring installations at five locations in Jemco Azad Basti, and deep boring with solar pumps and water tanks at Vinoba Bhave Leprosy Ashram and Mukhi Basti.
  • Roads and Drainage: Construction of a new drain in Premnagar Road No. 1 and the installation of paver blocks in Premnagar Road No. 3.
  • Public Amenities: Installation of street lights across Premnagar Roads 1 through 5 and hand pump installations near the local wood stall.

Focus on Grassroots Benefits

During the ceremony, MLA Sahu emphasized that the selection of these projects directly reflects the needs of the local population. “My priority is to expand basic infrastructure in every neighbourhood and colony,” she stated. “We are ensuring that essential services like clean drinking water and adequate street lighting reach the public promptly.”
