Jamshedpur, Nov 20: Development momentum continues to accelerate in the Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency, where MLA Purnima Sahu on Thursday inaugurated a series of projects worth approximately Rs 67 lakh in the Golmuri area. The initiatives—part of a four-day-long development drive—aim to strengthen civic infrastructure and improve living conditions across the constituency.
The projects launched include the repair of the damaged drain at Mohulbhera in Golmuri, construction of a new classroom at the C.P. Samiti School in Kebul Basti, building of a community hall and Kota stone flooring in Gadhabasa, renovation of the community hall in Kebul Basti, installation of a new sewer line in Kebul Town Security Line and completion of the pending road behind the Namda Centre in Vikas Colony.
Local residents expressed appreciation for MLA Sahu’s “active engagement and commitment to public welfare,” while also bringing other civic concerns to her attention. Sahu assured them that these issues would be addressed on priority. She also inspected several problem areas during her visit.
Speaking at the event, MLA Purnima Sahu said, “Essential development works across various parts of the constituency are being implemented on the ground. Several more important projects have been identified and will be completed in a phased manner. My aim is to ensure robust basic facilities in every part of the constituency so that people enjoy a smooth and convenient life.”
Among those present were MLA representative Gunjan Yadav, former BJP district president Dinesh Kumar, State Working Committee member Mithilesh Singh Yadav, BJP Golmuri Mandal president Pappu Upadhyay, senior leaders Khemlal Choudhary, Dheeraj Paswan and others, along with a large number of local women and BJP workers.
