PS Reddy new TRF MD

Jamshedpur, April 1: P S Reddy has succeeded Sudhir Deoras as the Tata-Robins Fraser (TRF) managing director on Friday.

Deoras served as MD for nine years, which was marked by significant growth of the company and investments in automotive applications business, such as York Transport Equipment, Dutch Lanka Trailer Manufacturers, Adithya Automotive Applications and Hewitt Robins International.

During this period, the Company, to keep abreast with emerging technologies, entered into partnership agreements with European and Chinese companies.

PS Reddy is a graduate in mechanical engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and has done masters in industrial engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

He has over 27 years of experience in Tata Steel Limited in various positions. He has won many awards such as Mohta Award for best value engineering efforts in India and Corporate Sourcing Excellence Award.

He has authored and presented a number of papers on productivity improvement, quality and value management. Leadership, people development, strategy and health are his key focus areas.

Employees of TRF held a felicitation program today in honor of Sudhir Deoras� completion of tenure and welcomed the new Managing Director.

The President of Tata Robins Fraser Labor Union, officers of the company and other employees and union committee members were present during the occasion. Many employees garlanded the outgoing MD and shared their experience of working under him.

TRF Ltd is a pioneer in engineering and supply of material handling equipment and systems for five decades. TRF has recently acquired Hewitt Robins Fraser Limited, UK, to enhance it scale of bulk material equipment and make a more meaningful presence in both European and Indian markets and the sub-continent.
