Protest against recruitments in Bagjata Uranium Project

Jamshedpur, Oct 23: Bagjata Mines Displacement Victims’ Core Committee has come out in protest against ongoing recruitments in Bagjata Uranium Project. A meeting of the outfit was held at Bagjata on Sunday. It was chaired by Zila Parishad member Shiv Nath Mardi. Several vital decisions were taken on this occasion.

Mardi said the displacement victims of Bagjata Mines were still deprived of basic amenities pertaining to education, health, road and employment. He said 19 years had passed but the condition of the displacement victims had not improved a bit. The demand for employment raised by the dependents of deceased displacement victims is also unfulfilled till date, he said.
