Jamshedpur, Feb 1: BJP State Spokesperson, Kunal Sharangi welcomed the interim budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He described the budget as progressive and dedicated to the nation’s development, stating, “It ushers new hopes and opportunities. The budget strengthens the commitment to a developed India, as the Finance Minister presented it without making any populist promises ahead of the elections.”

Kunal mentioned that in the interim budget, a target had been set to make three crore women among the 83 lakh Self Help Groups financially empowered and turn them into ‘Lakhpati Didis’. The success of empowering one crore women from these Self Help Groups into ‘Lakhpati Didis’ had already been achieved. He stated that under Modi 2.0, 1.4 crore youth in the country had been skilled through the Skill India initiative.

Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Dinesh Kumar, former BJP Mahanagar President, termed the 2024 Interim Budget as historic. In a statement on the interim budget, Dinesh mentioned, “It is a historic budget that fully illustrates India’s progress, self-reliance, and the goal of becoming a global leader under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. This budget is an excellent summary of the qualitative and quantitative changes in the Indian economy over the past decade.”

Budget on empowering youth, women, farmers: Kali Sharma

Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Krishna Sharma ‘Kali,’ the BJYM State Media Coordinator, praised the interim budget presented in Parliament for the financial year 2024-‘25 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday. Describing the budget as self-reliant and enthusiasm-boosting, Sharma emphasized that it focused on empowering the youth, the poor, women, and farmers—the four ‘pillars of a developed India.’ He stated that this budget was a step towards building the future of the nation, aligning with the principles of ‘Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabke Liye Prayas’ (Development for All, Trust of All, and Efforts for All).

Sharma expressed confidence that in the coming days, as India progressed towards becoming a developed nation, this budget would serve as an initial effort. He noted that the budget encapsulated a remarkable summary of qualitative and quantitative changes in the Indian economy over the past decade.

Balanced and impressive Budget: Pramod Mishra

Jamshedpur, Feb 1:  Pramod Mishra, the Media Coordinator for the BJP Baridih Mandal, extended his congratulations on the interim budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the fiscal year 2024-2025. Mishra described the budget as guaranteed and balanced that focused particularly on infrastructure development. He emphasized that this budget was a nation-building budget, reflecting the image of a youth-driven India determined to strengthen a developed nation.

Mishra noted the prudent financial management, ensuring control over fiscal deficits. He highlighted the special attention given by the Finance Minister to ‘Jai Kisan’ (Hail the Farmer), ‘Jai Jawan’ (Hail the Soldier), and ‘Jai Vigyan’ (Hail Science). The budget, according to Mishra, set a positive tone for the overall progress and welfare of the country.

Khadi Gram Udyog Ayog member Manoj Singh lauds Interim Budget

 

Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Manoj Kumar Singh, member of the Khadi Gram Udyog Ayog and the National Executive Committee of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, observed on the Interim Budget, “It lays the foundation for a developed India, and a clear roadmap will be presented in the full budget scheduled for July 2024. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the principles of improvement, performance, and transformative directives will guide the goals of developed India.”

In this budget, discussions about savings of approximately 2.7 lakh crore due to DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) were accompanied by talks on lifting nearly 25 crore people above the poverty line. Housing has been provided to 3 crore beneficiaries so far, with 70% of them in rural areas, and plans are in place to provide 2 crore more houses in the coming years. Manoj Singh stated, “The budget also addresses the release of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi for 11.8 crore farmers and discusses crop insurance for 4 crore farmers.”

Jamshedpur, Feb 1: The interim budget passed by the center on Thursday was praised as impressive by Amarpreet Singh Kale, former spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He stated, “The Budget 2024 will fulfill the aspirations of Youthful India and empower all sectors – youth, poor, women, and farmers who constitute the four pillars. It is a budget for building the future of the nation. The announcements of tax exemptions for startups and an expansion of initiatives are aimed at supporting their growth. Today’s budget also includes significant and crucial decisions for farmers, underlining their importance.”

Progressive Interim Budget:, Anil Modi

Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Anil Modi, President of the Jamshedpur Wholesale Cloth Merchants Association and Vice President (Trade and Commerce) of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, “The interim budget presented by the central government is progressive. It reflects the positive thinking of the central government towards the holistic development of the country. The announcement of three railway economic corridors by the government will broaden the logistics services sector, creating new employment opportunities.”

Anil Modi underlined the government’s emphasis on research in the budget, noting its potential benefits for the youth. The replacement of 40,000 general bogies with Vande Bharat in trains was noteworthy. “The connectivity improvement for Lakshadweep and other domestic islands will open up employment opportunities in the tourism sector. I am optimistic that this budget, geared towards strengthening the foundation for economic development and enhancing prospects, will contribute significantly to the country’s progress,” Modi said.

Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Bharat Singh, a member of the BJP State Executive Committee, praised the interim budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, describing it as highly commendable. He averred, “The interim budget is a presentation by the Finance Minister, providing information on the country’s income and expenditure for a few months. Given the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in April-May, this interim budget ensures a robust and secure future,” and added, “This budget prioritizes the four pillars of development – the poor, youth, women, and the farmer community. Looking ahead, I am confident  that when the BJP government forms Modi Government 3.0 with a complete majority, this budget will be implemented, as it serves as a guarantee for the year 2024. The efficacy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is what he promises, he delivers. The entire country will soon witness the benefits of Modi Government 3.0 and this budget.”
