Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Students of Sacred Heart Convent School observed Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary and martyrdom day, with poster display and a mobile library in the school campus. The event aimed to commemorate the life and teachings of the Father of the Nation.

Throughout the day, students from each class participated in a poster exhibition, offering their perspectives on Gandhian philosophy. The mobile library provided students access to rare books thereby fostering an environment of learning and understanding about the life, thoughts and work of Mahatma Gandhi.

A discussion on Gandhi’s Satyagraha movement and insights into rare books were presented. A Constitution Tree, adorned with leaves reflecting thoughts of students and teachers, was also inaugurated during the program.

The School’s Principal received the Uddeshika of the Constitution, adding a symbolic touch to the event. Those present included the District President of Sarvodaya Mandal, Dr. Sukhchandra Jha, Tarun Kumar, Shashank Shekhar, along with students and teachers.

The organizing team comprised Pradeep Rajak, Nilesh, Raj Ranjan, Simran Sharma, Ankur, and others. Those participating in the event were unanimous in their observation that such initiatives should continue to educate and inspire the youth about their rich cultural heritage and the contributions of national heroes.
