Jamshedpur, April 14: On Sunday, commemorating the 133rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, a vibrant chariot procession was organized by the Dr. Ambedkar SC, ST, OBC, and Minority Welfare Committee. The procession, starting from Agrico Signal main roundabout, traversed through various locations including Bhalubasa Chowk, Kumharpara Baradwari, Ramleela Maidan, and Sakchi Main Roundabout.
Led by Chairman Sonaram Bodra, the procession culminated at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Chowk in front of Old Book Store Chowk, where tributes were paid by garlanding Dr. Ambedkar’s statue. The event witnessed the participation of prominent social workers from diverse backgrounds, who were warmly greeted with blue-colored scarves upon their arrival.
General Secretary Ravindra Prasad conducted the proceedings, while Spokesperson Shambhu Mukhi Dungri delivered the vote of thanks, encapsulating the spirit of reverence and celebration on this significant occasion.
