Jamshedpur: Pritam Singh of ESDOA won the Jharkhand State Games Rapid Chess Tournament 2019 with score 6 out of 6 (100%) and received gold medal.
He defeated Ishant Kumar of Dhanbad, Rajesh Kumar Mishra of Dumka, Basant Khandelwal of West Singhbhum, Priyanka Kumari of West Singhbhum, Sudhakar Prem Dutt of Palamu & Aayush Agarwal of East Singhbhum.
Sudhakar Prem Dutt, Palamu and Priyanka Kumari, West Singhbhum both scored 5 out of 6 and won silver & Bronze Medal respectively.
In closing ceremony Pratyush Sahdeo Senior Vice President of JOA was Chief Guest along with Harbhajan Singh President East Singhbhum Dist. Olympic Association.
Other technical officials, guest including Chandan Kr. Prasad, Deepak Kumar, Prabhat Ranjan Kumar, Deepam and also President and Secretary were present. During the final match R. K. Anand, President JOA & Genl. Secretary, Madhukant Pathak were also present.
