President Droupadi Murmu to be chief guest at Jharkhand Statehood function 

3 new schemes to be launched, assets of Rs 2000 Cr be distributed

Ranchi, Nov 5: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren on  Saturday announced that President Droupadi Murmu would be the chief guest of the statehood function to be held on November 15 at Morhabadi ground in Ranchi.

Hemant Soren after a high-level meeting with the senior officials regarding the preparations for the main function to be organized at Morhabadi ground in Ranchi on the occasion of Jharkhand State Foundation Day said that preparation of the function was reviewed well in advance as “Honourable President Droupadi Murmu would be attending the function as chief guest.”

“In such a situation, all the arrangements here should be completely correct. Tight security arrangements should be made and the convenience of the people attending the program should also be taken care of,” added Soren.

Significantly, Droupadi Murmu who was the Governor of the state till 2021 had a good rapport with Hemant Soren and JMM had gone against the UPA coalition decision to vote for Droupadi in the Presidential poll earlier this year.

The Chief Minister inquired about the minute-to-minute program of the function and gave important instructions. He said that all the preparations should be completed in time.

Chief Minister took detailed information about the launching of new schemes and policies and the schemes to be inaugurated and laid the foundation stone. He also inquired about the distribution of assets among the beneficiaries on the occasion.

The Chief Minister will launch CM Sarathi Yojana, Guruji Credit Card Scheme, Chief Minister Education Promotion Scheme and Eklavya Skill Scheme Scheme in this function. At the same time, Industrial Park and Logistics Policy – 2022, Electric Vehicle Policy – 2022 and Jharkhand Ethanol Production Promotion Policy – 2022 will be launched.

The main function will be of three hours. This program will run from 3 pm to 6 pm.

On the occasion schemes worth more than five thousand crore rupees will be inaugurated- foundation stones laid.

There will be distribution of assets of more than Rs 2000 crores among the beneficiaries of government schemes.

In the ceremony more than 1000 newly selected in government departments will be given appointment letters.

Cultural programs based on Jharkhand’s art culture, song music and dance will be organized in the ceremony.

Chief Minister will also launch the portal of Chief Minister Relief Scheme on this occasion.
